Alliance Lead, Americas - United States
Alliance Lead, Americas - United States
Published on: 2026-03-03 | Full-time
The Short Version
We don't need a partner manager. We don't need a relationship steward. We need a Market Architect.
You won't maintain a portfolio. You'll build a revenue engine from nothing. The Americas ecosystem is white space. Your job is to fill it.
This is market creation, not maintenance. If you want a warm desk and a pre-built territory, this isn't for you.
The Role
As the Alliance Lead for the Americas, you own the ecosystem. Full stop. You'll transform early-stage partnerships into growth drivers that generate real pipeline and closed revenue. You'll sit with C-suite executives one hour and navigate technical architecture conversations the next.
This isn't a coordination role. You write the playbook. You execute it. You own the outcome. Nobody is going to hand you a partner list and a set of QBR templates. You'll build the strategy, recruit the partners, and create the motions that turn them into revenue.
The Americas market for real-time data processing is wide open. Ververica needs someone who sees that gap and knows exactly how to close it.
What You'll Own
Build the Ecosystem from Scratch
You'll identify, recruit, and activate the technology, consulting and cloud partners that define the future of real-time data. You won't follow existing plans. You'll create multi-year joint business strategies that position Ververica at the center of the modern data stack. Every partnership you sign should have a clear path to pipeline.
Drive Partner Revenue
This is a hunting role. You'll spearhead co-selling motions and build partner-sourced pipeline. You will be measured on closed deals and ACV, not on the number of meetings you schedule or decks you present. Creative GTM execution is expected. "Alignment meetings" without outcomes are not.
Win Executive Mindshare
You'll forge relationships with C-suite and VP stakeholders at our most strategic partners. In a crowded landscape, you'll make Ververica the partner of choice. You are the face of our brand to the ecosystem. Mindshare isn't a vanity metric here. It translates directly to deal registrations and field-level advocacy.
Turn Partner Sales Teams into Ours
Your success depends on how many partner reps are actively selling Ververica in the field. You'll evangelize our value proposition, enable their teams, and make it easy for them to pitch us. Their sales force becomes an extension of ours. That's the multiplier.
How We Measure Success
Your performance is measured by market expansion, not activity.
New Revenue Growth. Partner-sourced and partner-influenced ACV across the Americas. Real numbers, not projections.
Pipeline Velocity. Joint sales cycles that accelerate. Partner-led pipeline that grows quarter over quarter.
Market Penetration. Joint solutions launched, adopted, and generating demand. First-to-market wins that competitors can't replicate.
Partner Mindshare. Partner-led deal registrations scaling. Field-level certification deepening inside your partners' sales orgs.
Who You Are
Non-Negotiables
You have 7+ years in enterprise software. Cloud, Big Data, or Streaming Analytics. You've taken a partnership from $0 to $10M+ or launched a new territory from scratch. You've done this before and you're choosing to do it again.
You speak fluently about IaaS, PaaS, and the modern data stack. You don't need to code, but you hold your own with a Solutions Architect. You understand the players, the power dynamics, and where the industry is headed.
What Makes You Dangerous
You're a closer, not just a relationship curator. You navigate competitive and cooperative dynamics simultaneously without flinching. You lead cross-functional teams that don't report to you and they follow anyway. You see white space where others see saturation.
What We Don't Need
No account managers looking for steady state. No one who needs a pre-built territory or a warm book of business. No generalists who can't speak the language of data infrastructure. No one who measures success in partner dinners attended.
Why Ververica
The real-time data processing market is accelerating. The tools most companies rely on cannot keep up. We are winning mission-critical workloads from the biggest names in the industry, and this is the beginning.
Impact
You have a direct line of sight to revenue. Your work moves the company forward measurably. You influence product positioning, messaging, and our entire Americas go-to-market strategy.
Compensation
Competitive salary based on experience and location. Future equity stake in a growing company. Uncapped commission tied to partner revenue.
Environment
30 days paid vacation. Home office setup budget. Professional development budget. Flexible hours. Results matter, not face time. We hire adults and treat them like it.
What Happens Next
The Americas ecosystem is open territory. The window to define it is now.
If you've built markets before and you're ready to build another one, we want to talk. Send your CV and tell us about the biggest partnership you've ever built from zero. We'll take it from there.
Demand Generation Manager (m/f/d) - Spain | Barcelona
Demand Generation Manager (m/f/d) - Spain | Barcelona
Published on: 2026-02-23 | Full-time
The Mission
Ververica will be bold. We will be opinionated. We will divide and conquer.
For too long, we've played the role of the good corporate citizen: respectful, accommodating, waiting for the market to recognize what we've built.
That ends now.
We are the original creators of Apache Flink®. We defined the standard for stream processing. Now we have perfected it. We deliver Real-Time AI for a world in motion, engineered in Europe, sovereign by design. We provide the only asset that matters to AI: Governed, Absolute Truth.
No Lock-In. No Latency. No Compromise.
While the world buffers, we act.
We need a Demand Generation Manager who makes prospects understand this reality. Someone who doesn't spray and pray, but targets and converts. Someone who knows that precision beats volume every time. Someone who understands we don't need everyone's attention. We need the right buyers' commitment.
If you're still reading, keep going.
The Opportunity
As our Demand Generation Manager, you'll own pipeline growth and conversion optimization, our top strategic priority. You'll design and execute full-funnel demand generation strategies, build sophisticated ABM programs for enterprise accounts, and partner closely with Sales to dramatically improve our MQL→SAL conversion rate.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you'll have direct influence on company revenue. You'll work with a small, talented team, leverage AI for efficiency, and occasionally manage agency partnerships.
Why this role matters: Every SAL you generate directly impacts bookings. Every point of improvement in conversion rate translates into significant revenue growth. This isn't a "spray and pray" volume game. This is strategic, targeted, results-driven marketing.
What You'll Do
Own Pipeline & Conversion (Your #1 Priority)
- Your mission is simple: improve MQL→SAL conversion and drive pipeline growth that turns into revenue.
- You'll design and execute full-funnel demand generation strategies that move prospects from awareness to consideration to decision. You'll build lead-nurturing programs across multiple touchpoints and continuously optimize them based on what actually converts.
- You'll conduct deep funnel analysis to identify conversion gaps and opportunities. You'll create cohort analysis and testing frameworks to improve conversion at each stage.
- You'll report on pipeline metrics, forecasts, and conversion trends to leadership.
This isn't about volume. This is about making every lead count.
Build Account-Based Marketing Programs
- You'll develop and execute ABM strategies across two tiers: 1:few and 1:many.
- You'll collaborate closely with Sales to identify and prioritize target accounts.
- You'll create personalized, multi-channel campaigns for high-value enterprise accounts.
- You organize participation in physical events as a part of ABM initiatives.
- You'll track account engagement, progression, and influence on the pipeline. You'll build account intelligence and insights using AI tools for personalization at scale.
This is surgical, not spray-and-pray.
Execute Marketing Automation & Technical Campaigns
- You'll build sophisticated campaigns, primarily in HubSpot: workflows, emails, landing pages, and forms. You'll implement and continuously refine lead scoring models based on Sales feedback.
- You'll create advanced segmentation and targeting strategies for different personas and stages. You'll design marketing automation workflows that nurture leads efficiently.
- You'll ensure proper tracking, attribution, and data quality up to the MQL stage. You'll set up conversion tracking, UTM parameters, and campaign performance measurement.
You don't just manage tools. You master them.
Direct Paid Media Strategy
- You'll provide strategic direction, campaign briefs, and audience targeting guidance to our paid media agency. But you'll be accountable for the results: LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, retargeting.
- You'll collaborate with our Creative Director on ad creative development. Together with the Performance Marketing Manager, you'll review campaign performance weekly and optimize budget allocation across channels.
- You'll ensure paid media campaigns align with broader demand generation strategy and messaging. You'll make data-driven decisions on continuing, expanding, or adjusting agency partnerships.
You own the outcomes, not just the inputs.
Partner with Sales for Revenue Impact
- You'll continuously refine MQL and SAL definitions based on what actually converts to opportunities, not what sounds good in a spreadsheet.
- You'll provide Sales enablement on campaign messaging, target accounts, and lead context. You'll establish closed-loop reporting and feedback mechanisms between Marketing and Sales.
You'll act as the bridge between Marketing and Sales. You speak both languages fluently.
Measure, Optimize, Win
- You'll maintain performance dashboards for demand generation activities. You'll track KPIs: MQL volume, MQL→SAL conversion rate, cost per MQL, cost per SAL, and campaign ROI.
- You'll conduct regular post-mortems to identify what worked and what didn't, and keep a log of findings. You'll use data to make recommendations on budget allocation and channel mix.
- You'll present monthly performance reports to the VP of Marketing and quarterly reviews to leadership.
You don't hide from the numbers. You live in them.
What You Bring
Non-Negotiables
Experience That Matters
You have 5+ years in B2B demand generation, ideally in enterprise SaaS or technical infrastructure.
You have a proven track record improving MQL→SQL or MQL→SAL conversion rates. You've built and scaled ABM programs for enterprise accounts. You've done this before and you can do it again.
You have deep HubSpot expertise. You build campaigns yourself, not just manage them. You've worked with paid media platforms: LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, retargeting.
You're analytics-driven. You live in dashboards, understand funnel mechanics, and make data-informed decisions.
Skills That Win
Marketing automation mastery: HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot. You know these platforms inside-out.
Funnel analytics and conversion optimization. You understand where leads drop off and how to fix it.
Lead scoring and segmentation strategies. You know the difference between a signal and noise.
Sales alignment and stakeholder management. You've partnered with Sales teams and earned their trust through results.
AI tools for efficiency and personalization. You know how to leverage technology for scale.
Mindset That Fits
Data over intuition. Always. You test hypotheses, not hunches.
Bias toward action. You'd rather ship, learn, and iterate than debate endlessly. You act while competitors buffer.
Ownership mentality. You don't make excuses. You find solutions.
Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change. You thrive in environments where the playbook is still being written.
You thrive in small teams with high autonomy. You don't need hand-holding or daily check-ins.
You understand B2B enterprise sales cycles. You know these deals take time, and you build programs that respect that reality.
What Makes You Dangerous
You're not just a tactician waiting for instructions. You have strong points of view on what works and what doesn't.
You've competed in crowded markets and found ways to break through. You understand positioning, messaging, and differentiation.
You bring both creative instincts and analytical rigor. You don't sacrifice one for the other.
You know how to get things done in matrixed organizations. You build trust through collaboration and results.
Nice to Have
Experience in data infrastructure, streaming data, or AI/ML markets. You understand the space we play in.
Background in technical or developer-focused marketing. You know how to speak to engineers and executives.
Fluent in German or other European languages. We're a European company with global ambitions.
Previous experience in European tech companies. You understand the culture and pace.
What We Don't Need
- No generalists looking for "varied responsibilities" without focus.
- No managers seeking teams to build. This is an IC role.
- No tacticians waiting for detailed instructions and perfect briefs.
- No "brand marketers" uncomfortable with hard metrics and revenue accountability.
- No one afraid to challenge the status quo or push back when something doesn't make sense.
What We Offer
Impact
You'll have a direct line of sight to revenue. Your work will move the company forward measurably.
Team
You'll work with a small, talented team. No bureaucracy, no politics, no BS.
Growth
You'll learn fast and ship faster. You'll have access to cutting-edge AI and automation tools.
Compensation
Competitive salary based on experience and location.
Work Environment
Hybrid in Barcelona, Spain.
The Bottom Line
We have the technology. We have the pedigree. We have the proof. Now we need someone who can turn that into a pipeline machine.
This isn't a "test five channels and see what sticks" role. This is a "build systematic, repeatable programs that generate revenue" role. This isn't for someone who wants to dabble in a bit of everything. This is for someone who's done demand generation at scale and wants to do it again with the world's best streaming data platform.
The opportunity is ours. The time is now.
If you're the kind of marketer who gets excited about conversion rate optimization, brings both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and is ready to build a demand generation engine for a category-defining company, we want to talk.

No Lock-In. No Latency. No Compromise.
While the world buffers, we act.
We need a Performance Marketing Specialist who understands one thing: traffic is easy. Profitable traffic is not. We don’t need someone who “runs ads.” We need someone who turns budget into revenue. Someone who obsesses over CAC, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution. Someone who knows that higher spending doesn’t fix bad targeting. Precision does. Someone who understands that impressions don’t pay salaries. Revenue does.
We don’t need more campaigns. We need better ones.
No vanity metrics.
No set-and-forget campaigns.
You live in the data. You move fast. You test relentlessly.
If ROAS is your language, keep reading.
The Opportunity
- You will own our paid acquisition engine across search, social, and display. Your mission is simple: generate a qualified pipeline at sustainable CAC.
- You will manage budgets across Google, LinkedIn, and other paid platforms. You will optimize campaigns daily, not quarterly. You will test creatives, landing pages, audiences, and bidding strategies with discipline.
- This role is hands-on. You build the campaigns. You analyze performance. You make the calls. When something underperforms, you fix it.
- This isn’t brand awareness marketing. This is revenue marketing.
What You'll Do
- Paid Strategy & Execution
- You will build and execute paid media strategies aligned to revenue goals. You will structure campaigns around ICP segments and buying stages. You will align messaging with Product Marketing and Demand Gen Manager to ensure relevance.
- You will manage paid search, paid social, retargeting, and display. You will continuously test creatives and landing pages to increase CTR and conversion rates. Every euro must work
- Performance & Optimization
- You will track performance across the funnel, from click to opportunity. You will improve CPL, MQL to SAL conversion, and cost per opportunity.
- You will run A/B tests. You will kill underperforming campaigns fast. You will double down on what scales. Data drives decisions. Not opinions.
- Budget & Reporting
- You will manage monthly and quarterly budgets with precision. You will forecast pipeline contribution from paid channels.
- You will report on metrics that matter: pipeline, revenue influence, CAC, ROAS. Not impressions. Not “engagement.” If it doesn’t impact revenue, it’s noise.
What You Bring
- 3+ years managing B2B paid media budgets
- Proven track record of reducing CAC while increasing pipeline
- Deep experience with Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads
- Strong analytical skills and confidence with attribution models
- Experience optimizing landing pages and conversion flows
- You have done this before. You can do it again.
Skills That Win
- Paid media platform mastery: Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads. You know campaign structures, bidding strategies, and audience layers inside-out.
- Performance analytics and attribution modeling. You understand multi-touch attribution and how paid influences pipeline, not just leads.
- Landing page and CRO expertise. You know how to improve conversion rates through testing, not guesswork.
- Budget forecasting and CAC management. You can project pipeline impact before spending a euro.
- AI-driven optimization tools. You use automation, scripts, and smart bidding to scale performance without losing control.
Mindset That Fits
- Data over intuition. Always. You test hypotheses, not hunches.
- Bias toward action. You'd rather ship, learn, and iterate than debate endlessly. You act while competitors buffer.
- Ownership mentality. You don't make excuses. You find solutions.

What Makes You Dangerous
- You understand full-funnel performance, not just top-of-funnel clicks. You can explain attribution without hiding behind jargon.
- You challenge assumptions when the data disagrees. You move fast. You don’t wait for perfect.
Nice to Have
- Experience in data infrastructure, streaming data, or AI/ML markets. You understand the space we play in.
- Background in technical or developer-focused marketing. You know how to speak to engineers and executives.
- Fluent in German or other European languages. We're a European company with global ambitions.

Growth
- You'll learn fast and ship faster. You'll have access to cutting-edge AI and automation tools.
Compensation
- Competitive salary based on experience and location.
Work Environment
- Hybrid in Barcelona, Spain.
The Bottom Line
We have strong product-market fit. We have clear ICPs. We have budget to invest. Now we need someone who can turn spend into scalable revenue.
This isn’t a “launch campaigns and hope” role. This is a “build a disciplined, high-performance paid engine that compounds over time” role.
This isn’t for someone who optimizes for CTR and calls it success. This is for someone who understands CAC, pipeline contribution, and revenue efficiency. Someone who has scaled paid acquisition before and wants to do it again with a category-defining platform.
The opportunity is real. The mandate is clear.
If you get excited about lowering CAC, improving conversion rates, and turning paid media into a predictable growth lever, we want to talk.
Senior Account Executive - United Kingdom | London
Senior Account Executive - United Kingdom | London
Published on: 2026-03-03 | Full-time
The Short Version
This isn't an inherited patch. This isn't a warm book of business. This is a market that doesn't exist yet.
You'll build it.
Ververica is expanding into the UK and Middle East. We need a founding seller, not a quota-carrier. Someone who's done the zero-to-one before and wants to do it again. No playbook. No safety net. No excuses.
If that scares you, stop reading. If it excites you, keep going.
The Long Version
You'll own revenue growth for Ververica's stream processing platform across Financial Services and Manufacturing in the UK and Middle East. Two sectors where real-time data isn't a nice-to-have. It's the infrastructure.
Financial Services means trading systems, payment processing, and fraud detection. Manufacturing means IIoT and predictive maintenance. These buyers are technical, skeptical, and allergic to slide decks. You'll sell to CTOs and Architects who know when they're being pitched fluff.
This isn't feature selling. This is selling a vision of real-time data evolution to people who understand the stakes. You'll connect business outcomes to technical architecture and make the case that Ververica is the platform their most critical workloads deserve.
The Middle East brings its own complexity. Different procurement cycles, different relationship dynamics, different timelines. You've navigated this before, or you're ready to learn fast.
What You'll Own
Build the Market
You're starting from zero in these regions. You'll identify target accounts, build pipeline from scratch, and create a repeatable motion that scales. Outbound is your primary weapon. Events, partnerships, and community presence are your accelerants. Nobody is handing you leads.
Win Strategic Deals
You'll run full-cycle enterprise sales from first conversation to signed contract. Complex, multi-stakeholder deals with long sales cycles and high contract values. You'll map buying committees, build champions, and navigate procurement. Every deal you close sets the standard for the region.
Shape the Go-to-Market
You're the eyes and ears on the ground. You'll feed market intelligence back to Product and Marketing. You'll influence positioning, messaging, and regional strategy. Your insights will determine how Ververica shows up in these markets.
Non-Negotiables
You have 5+ years in enterprise software sales. Open source, data infrastructure, or analytics is strongly preferred. You've built a market or a business before. You know what zero-to-one feels like and you chose to do it again. You sell on value, not features.
What Makes You Dangerous
You're a relentless outbounder who doesn't wait for inbound to save the quarter. You've sold to technical buyers (CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Data Architects) and earned their respect. You understand the Financial Services or Manufacturing landscape well enough to speak the language. You thrive when the playbook is still being written.
What We Don't Need
No order-takers. No reps who need a BDR team to fill their calendar. No one who confuses activity with progress. No one waiting for marketing to generate demand. You are the demand generation.
Why Ververica
Data processing is getting faster. The most popular tools cannot keep up. We are winning mission-critical workloads from the biggest names in the industry, and this is only getting started.
Massive Upside
High-impact commission structure with no ceiling. Future equity on the table. You're joining early enough to matter.
Total Autonomy
We hire adults. You'll have the freedom to execute your strategy, your way. Results matter, not activity reports.
Real Impact
You won't be account number 47 on a territory map. You'll be the person who built the UK and Middle East business. That's a career-defining opportunity, not a lateral move.
What Happens Next
If you've read this far, you already know whether this is for you.
No cover letters. No personality tests. Send us your CV and tell us about the hardest market you've ever built. We'll take it from there.
The opportunity is real. The window is now. Let's talk.

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) - Germany | Munich
Published on: 2026-01-30 | Full-time
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with a strong focus on end-to-end (E2E) testing, either using Java-based testing frameworks or Cypress. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and executing E2E test automation solutions in fast-paced agile environments. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of mission-critical applications, working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to deliver high-quality software products.
In This Role You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of E2E automated test scripts using Java-based frameworks (e.g. TestNG, JUnit) or Cypress.

Senior Software Engineer - VERA Engine & Ecosystem - Spain
Senior Software Engineer - VERA Engine & Ecosystem - Spain
Published on: 2026-04-23 |
About the Team:
The Stream Engines & Ecosystem (SEE) team at Ververica owns VERA, an enterprise-grade stream processing engine built on Apache Flink, together with the surrounding ecosystem that makes it production-ready for demanding workloads. Our charter covers the engine runtime itself as well as the components customers rely on to integrate VERA into real-world data platforms: connectors, catalogs, change data capture (CDC), and AI model integration.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design, implementation, and long-term evolution of the VERA engine and its ecosystem. The primary focus is on engine kernel development, complemented by meaningful work across the broader ecosystem. You will take end-to-end ownership of non-trivial technical problems — from design proposals through implementation, testing, release, and production hardening.
Responsibilities:

- Produce and review technical design documents; participate in architectural discussions for both kernel and ecosystem initiatives.
- Uphold engineering quality through code review, thorough testing, and rigorous performance and regression analysis.
- Collaborate with adjacent teams across platform, SRE, and product functions.
- Strong proficiency in Java, with a solid understanding of the JVM, concurrency, memory model, and performance tuning.
- Working knowledge of distributed systems fundamentals: consensus, replication, consistency models, fault tolerance, and failure recovery.
- Demonstrated ability to reason about and debug complex distributed data systems under production conditions.
- Experience designing and implementing non-trivial systems-level software, with a track record of shipping and maintaining production code.
- Familiarity with stream processing concepts such as event time, watermarks, windowing, exactly-once semantics, and state backends.
- Ability to produce clear design documents and collaborate effectively in an asynchronous, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Contributions to Apache Flink or comparable open-source projects in the streaming, messaging, or data infrastructure space (e.g., Kafka, Pulsar, Spark, Iceberg, Paimon).
- Committer or PMC status on a relevant Apache project.
- Hands-on experience with the internals of Flink or a similar distributed stream processing engine.
- Experience building or maintaining connectors, catalog integrations, or CDC pipelines.
- Familiarity with integrating AI/ML model serving or inference into data processing pipelines.
- Experience with storage formats and lakehouse technologies (Parquet, ORC, Iceberg, Hudi, Paimon, Delta Lake).
